Terms of use

1. What the service is

ProMe provides trial access to language models enhanced with domain knowledge, including a side-by-side comparison of a model before and after enhancement. The service is currently free. We make no guarantee about continued availability or response time, and we may change or suspend it at any time for reasons of maintenance, capacity, or cost.

2. Disclaimer

Model output is generated by a statistical model. It can contain errors, out-of-date information, and outright gaps, and it will often deliver wrong content in a confident tone. Nothing this service produces constitutes medical, legal, tax, financial, engineering, or any other professional advice, and none of it substitutes for the judgement of a qualified professional.

You agree to verify any output yourself before acting on it. To the fullest extent the law allows, ProMe accepts no liability for direct or indirect loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this service.

3. Acceptable use

By using this service, you agree not to:

  • use it for anything that breaks the law of the Republic of China (Taiwan), or to produce content that infringes anyone else’s rights;
  • work around rate limits by script, automation, or any other means, or resell or proxy this service as an API;
  • attempt to obtain non-public system information, model weights, or backend addresses;
  • run load tests, penetration tests, or denial-of-service attacks against it — if you’re a security researcher, get in touch with us first.

We may restrict or terminate any use that breaches the above, without prior notice.

4. What you type

You are responsible for whatever you type, and you warrant that you have the legal right to enter it. Please keep sensitive personal information, trade secrets, and anything you owe a duty of confidence over out of the comparison demo — we don’t keep your input (see the privacy policy), but no transmission over a network can ever be guaranteed absolutely secure.

5. We don’t censor output

This service doesn’t store model output, and it neither screens output in advance nor filters it afterwards. Base models vary in how they have been safety-aligned, and some have been adjusted to reduce refusal behaviour. How you use the output is entirely your responsibility.

6. Intellectual property

The text, visual design, and code of this site belong to ProMe. You are free to use model output to whatever extent the law allows, but be aware that output can resemble existing works; satisfy yourself that your use doesn’t infringe a third party’s rights.

The open-source base models behind this service remain subject to their own licences, which are noted alongside each model.

7. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time, and we’ll update the date on this page when we do. Continuing to use the service after a revision means you accept it.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of China (Taiwan). For any dispute arising out of them, the parties agree to the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.

9. Language versions

The Chinese version of these terms is the governing version. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience only; where a translation and the Chinese version disagree, the Chinese version prevails.

10. Contact

Any question about these terms: [email protected].
